Rhode Island Lacrosse Town Scholarships - Beach Dogs Camp

I wanted to get ahead of the "ball" if you will, and continue with the
free camp scholarships for Rhode Island Players who otherwise would
not be able to play. I would like to offer 2 free camp scholarships to
each town program this year, not 1.

As some of you know Harlem Lacrosse Program attended the beach dogs
summer camp at no cost this summer. It has always been our goal to
give back and provide opportunities to those players who otherwise
might not get a chance to experience something like this camp.

While the Harlem boys are attending again - I wanted to make an impact
locally to our youth here in Rhode Island.

To that end we want to offer TWO free scholarship to each town program
to award to a boy or girl who would benefit from the experience. This
is not skills based award but more of a life based award to the player
who you think as program directors as shown respect for the sport,
potential as a person and who otherwise could not afford this
experience.

I ask that you only put the beach dogs logo and a link on your site as
a sponsor and camp opportunity.

Only a few towns took advantage of this experience last year. I hope
to get 100% participation.

We had all the Thompson brothers at camp and expect them back next year as well.

Lawson Lacrosse Goalie Scholarship - Beach Dogs Camp

Jointly sponsored by the Beach Dogs Lacrosse Camp and by Goalie Coaches, Dennis Dobbyn and Rod Easton from the Moses Brown Goalie Camp - the full week of camp scholarship ideally fund a deserving goalie or aspiring goalie who could not otherwise attend.

The scholarship is named for Bill Lawson, the long-time coach at Lafayette College and at numerous summer lacrosse camps, who died in an auto accident on his way back from the West Point Camp.

No one loved summer lacrosse camps more than Coach Lawson, and we know he would have welcomed the opportunity to provide a camp experience for a deserving youngster.

The Beach Dogs Lacrosse & Aquidneck Cannons Lacrosse Club (ACLC) is a comprehensive, developmental club lacrosse program for players committed to playing lacrosse at a high level. The mission of the program is to enhance our players lives through the sport of lacrosse, teaching teamwork, developing leaders, and building character.

In addition, ACLC believes 'Everyone Plays'. Donations of Equipment and scholarships to camps, clinics, and leagues to both Beach Dogs Programs and to other programs in multiple sports, even outside of lacrosse are donated each year.
